This experience fundamentally contradicts biblical theology through its central claim that humans can "become God by themselves" and possess "God substance" within. This directly opposes the biblical teaching of the Creator-creature distinction and constitutes the original temptation of Satan that "you will be like God" (Genesis 3:5). The Bible clearly states there is only one God (Deuteronomy 6:4, Isaiah 45:5) and warns against the blasphemy of claiming divinity. The experiencer's interpretation that holy books speak from recognition of "godly substance within oneself" misrepresents biblical revelation, which comes from God TO humanity, not from human self-realization.
The encounter with a demon presents mixed theological implications. While the Bible acknowledges demonic opposition to spiritual truth (Ephesians 6:12), the experiencer's interpretation that both God and demon substances exist within us all contradicts biblical anthropology. Scripture teaches humans are made in God's image but are not divine, and that evil entered through sin, not as an inherent substance. The demon's portrayed role of preventing recognition of human divinity actually aligns with biblical truth - humans should not seek to be God. However, the overall framework suggesting internal divinity represents a dangerous spiritual deception warned against throughout Scripture. This appears more influenced by Eastern mysticism or Gnostic thought than biblical Christianity.
A Tibetan man was involved in a car accident and experienced an out-of-body state. He found himself in a vehicle after the accident with a traffic police officer and a driver present as rescue members. During his out-of-body experience, only a molecular part remained with his physical body while the rest of his consciousness was completely separated. He describes questioning how he came to be in the vehicle and experiencing a bypass phenomenon. Upon returning to his body, his molecules first became active with no immediate trace of being alive again. He sensed a powerful force wanting him to live, which made him experience living in a deeper manner. This experience presented an opportunity to become God by himself, recognizing the godly substance within himself. He had never previously thought one could become God, but this state allowed him to touch the God substance within. He interprets that most holy books speak from this recognition of godly substance within oneself. However, as he contemplated this God substance, death approached again like a blanket, and when he came to his senses, he encountered a demon. He explains that the demon substance, like the God substance, exists within us all. The demon appeared specifically when he was contemplating his God substance, terrifying him and preventing him from working through, by, and from God. The demon's purpose was to prevent the realization that an individual can be God substance. Eventually, he reached the hospital where he had the opportunity to grieve his own body. Upon seeing his body in the hospital, he judged it and then resided in it again, choosing to live.
