The evil being with magnetic force pulling her from her body resembles demonic activity rather than divine intervention. She saw her lifeless body on the bed and mentally screamed about not wanting to die at only eighteen. She floated across campus until becoming aware of another world superimposed on the physical world, with parkland boundary floating above real grass. Grey cloaked figures huddled at the boundary, discussing her case. After waiting, she heard one say "Someone is coming to help you" and gently floated back into her body. Minutes later, physical footsteps approached and a note was pushed under her door from a fellow student offering a ride to Manchester, 200 miles away. With just enough energy to crawl to his car, she made it home where her parents collected her the next day to begin recovery from anorexia. She recognized the grey robed beings had sent the student as the only way to save her life. Years later, seeing a Star Wars poster, she almost fainted recognizing Darth Vader as the evil figure who had pulled her from her body. She wonders if George Lucas, who had an NDE, encountered the same being. The experience showed her a spiritual realm existing parallel to but separate from the physical world. |
