This experience contains significant elements that contradict biblical theology despite some compatible aspects. The positive elements include the transformative life review showing the consequences of actions, which aligns with biblical principles of sowing and reaping (Galatians 6:7) and the judgment seat where "each of us will give an account of ourselves to God" (Romans 14:12). The emphasis on love as central to existence resonates with "God is love" (1 John 4:8), and the complete healing from disease could be seen as divine healing.
However, the experience contains multiple concepts incompatible with Scripture. The reference to "all my lives in all time" directly implies reincarnation, which contradicts Hebrews 9:27: "people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment." The concept of universal salvation where "everything will work out eventually" and "everyone gets there eventually" contradicts Jesus' clear teaching about eternal separation (Matthew 25:46). The description of becoming "one with the universe" and accessing "collective loving consciousness" reflects Eastern mysticism and New Age philosophy rather than biblical theology, which maintains the Creator-creature distinction. The expansion into containing "the entire history of the universe" suggests omniscience, a divine attribute not given to humans. The absence of any mention of sin, redemption through Christ, or need for salvation despite the extensive spiritual teaching received is particularly concerning from a biblical perspective.
A 57-year-old man with TWAR bacterial lung disease for two years experienced severe breathing difficulties one October evening about 10 years ago. He experienced an overwhelming sense of being HOME, with happiness a million times stronger than having his first child. A bright light figure appeared who knew everything about him, radiating ancient wisdom and love while speaking with a humorous, deep voice directly into his consciousness. Three other light figures observed from a distance. The being asked what he had done with his life, triggering a complete life review where he experienced all 57 years in an instant from both his perspective and that of everyone he had affected. He felt the pain he had caused others, particularly reliving bullying a vulnerable girl in school, feeling her wounds and suffering as if he were her. The light being's love helped heal his pain, explaining that everything was perfect and about learning, that love and its consequences mean everything. He received vast knowledge about humanity's future, understanding that everything would eventually work out despite near-term difficulties. After expanding into a sphere of consciousness containing all his lives throughout time and the universe's entire history, understanding that existence is created by love and that humans struggle by confusing this with physical emotions, he was told to return. He would get well and continue his life. He awoke the next morning in the fetal position with his breathing completely restored, his years-long illness cured. Ten years later, he remains permanently changed with part of his eternal self always present. |
