While Tamura's experiences contain some biblical elements like encountering Archangel Michael and witnessing angelic worship around God's throne (reminiscent of Revelation), the overall framework is heavily New Age and contradicts orthodox Christian theology. The positive aspects include recognition of divine beings, the concept of serving others, and witnessing heavenly worship similar to biblical descriptions of Seraphim and continuous praise around God's throne.
However, numerous elements directly contradict scripture. The concept of completing "life contracts" and choosing whether to return implies reincarnation and pre-existence agreements foreign to biblical teaching. Enhanced psychic abilities, kundalini energy, and being a professional spiritual healer/teacher align with occult practices warned against in scripture. The idea of "eternal life" as continuing physical incarnations contradicts the biblical teaching of resurrection and eternal life in God's presence. His role as a spiritual teacher claiming direct divine encounters while promoting New Age concepts could be considered false teaching by biblical standards. The mixing of Christian imagery with Eastern mysticism and psychic development represents syncretism incompatible with biblical Christianity.
Michael Tamura experienced five NDEs between 2004-2012, with the most significant being three major events. First, severe gout pain led him to call out to God, resulting in being escorted by Archangel Michael to a conference room with five divine beings who informed him he had completed his life contract and could choose to stay or return. He chose to return for greater benefit to others, receiving supernatural computer guidance afterward to find gout treatment.
His second NDE occurred during a heart attack after experiencing kundalini energy disruption. While chanting Hebrew prayers for the dead (despite not knowing Hebrew), he went outside and collapsed. He encountered beings who told him this decision was about eternal life, not just returning. After committing to eternal life regardless of physical conditions, he experienced Mother Earth opening to receive accumulated healing energies from his chest. The helicopter transport involved flatlining, leaving his body through the ambulance roof, and being pushed back by golden angels. The third NDE was sudden cardiac arrest during gym workout in 2011. His consciousness traveled to the furthest point imaginable yet the center of everything - a space of total oneness by "the eternal flame of God's Divine Love." He experienced undulating wings of massive Seraphim and thousands of angels in constant worship. Advanced spiritual training included facing horrific images while practicing non-resistance. The cardiac arrest led to discovery of a burst blood vessel requiring emergency surgery by the surgeon who invented a new technique that saved his life. Throughout these experiences, Tamura received spiritual upgrades, enhanced psychic abilities, and deeper understanding of divine orchestration. Each NDE took him to progressively higher spiritual realms with increasing responsibility for his return mission. |
