One night after retiring, a person found themselves floating in a dark tunnel, drawn to golden light on the right side. The entrance was lined with golden skulls producing light, continuing through both sides of the passage. Inside, people surrounded them in all directions with no true up or down, dressed in varied attire from casual to opera formal to work uniforms. These opaque entities appeared to speak but produced only muted, unintelligible sounds. One female tried reaching out but couldn't make contact.
Moving deeper, light diminished and entities became transparent, wearing tattered or minimal flowing garments. The tunnel widened until only stars remained visible in pitch blackness. They contemplated choosing their destiny among the stars but found no familiar Earth constellations. The vast emptiness stretched endlessly with fewer stars the further outward they moved. Feeling slightly panicky about eternal floating in darkness, their guardian (accompanied by an animal spirit) intervened, saying it wasn't their time yet and tugging them back. They woke with their heart doing a "fish-outta-water" thing, requiring slow breathing and coughing to stabilize. An EKG 3-4 years later revealed evidence of a heart attack within the past 5 years, confirming the medical nature of this vivid experience that remains perfectly detailed years later. |
