The cosmic vision of a black hole as the transition point to the afterlife has no biblical precedent and suggests a materialistic or science-fiction interpretation of death rather than a spiritual transition to heaven or hell. The universal knowledge download, while reminiscent of divine revelation, came without any recognition of God or spiritual truth. Robert's body began dissolving internal organs from extreme ketoacidosis. After hyperventilating uncontrollably, he passed out at the VA hospital check-in desk. The being said he was from Earth's first colonists from another world, chosen to guide Robert back due to no emotional connection. He warned Robert about potential government experimentation on his body and advised future death should be on his own terms. Robert awoke two weeks later from a coma, with doctors saying his consciousness seemed elsewhere during that time.
