This experience contains both biblical and non-biblical elements. The out-of-body experience and viewing one's body from above aligns with accounts like Paul's in 2 Corinthians 12. The life review with intense emotional experience of how one's actions affected others reflects biblical concepts of judgment and accountability. The presence of God as a bright light corresponds with biblical descriptions of divine light and glory.
However, significant non-biblical elements are present. The concept of reincarnation and multiple lives directly contradicts Hebrews 9:27 ("it is appointed for men to die once, and after this the judgment"). The "twin-flame" romantic relationship and discussion of future incarnations reflects New Age concepts rather than biblical teaching. The understanding of life as a "game" to be played well diverges from biblical views of life's sacred purpose. The consultation with ancestors and the Greek architectural setting suggest influences outside Judeo-Christian tradition. The later use of ayahuasca to unlock memories introduces shamanic practices incompatible with biblical faith.
At age 8 in 1992, Brad was overcome by toxic gases (methane, carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide) from a sewage pond on his family farm in Indiana. He collapsed after smelling sulfur while walking between a hog barn and the open sewage pond. He was unconscious on the ground and not discovered by anyone.
Brad found himself 30-40 feet in the air looking down at the scene, able to judge the height by a nearby utility pole. He fell through a small black hole into a tunnel, looking backward at the entrance while his consciousness matured from child to adult. He received "downloads" of information, understanding life was like a game with better and worse ways to play. During a life review on panoramic screens, he experienced intense emotional pain feeling what his mother and sister had felt from his actions, multiplied thousandfold, before being cleansed. He walked through a beloved meadow he recognized from previous visits, then entered a great hall with family ancestors arranged like on bleachers. He spoke with them, referencing God as a bright light to his right. He met with a romantic twin-flame figure in a Greek-columned building, discussing their future incarnations wouldn't overlap in timing. Upon return, Brad repeatedly tried to recreate the experience by lying on the same spot, eventually becoming afraid of the area. The experience was buried in his psyche until his 30s, with memories returning in waves. An ayahuasca ceremony later helped unlock forgotten memories of the event. |
