Earth as hell, God as scientist, pantheistic concepts
Justin's NDE contains significant departures from biblical theology despite some compatible elements. His encounter with God included the divine rebuke against bargaining, which aligns with God's sovereignty. The life review and consciousness surviving death are biblically consistent. However, major theological problems emerge: describing God as a "scientist" conducting experiments reduces the personal, loving God of scripture to an impersonal researcher. The concept of all souls being "fragments" of God reflects pantheism rather than biblical creation theology where humans are distinct creations made in God's image. Most problematic is claiming "Earth is hell," directly contradicting scripture which describes Earth as God's good creation (Genesis 1:31) and hell as a separate place of judgment. Meeting Stephen Hawking (an atheist) in heaven raises questions about the nature of this realm. While the experience produced lasting transformation and removed fear of death, the theological framework diverges significantly from biblical Christianity toward a more gnostic or New Age worldview.
On his 41st birthday, February 3, 2022, Justin was in a severe accident with crushed lungs and critical injuries. While dying, he bargained with God and experienced his repressed childhood memories unwinding like a movie, gaining perspective on childhood abuse from two failed adoptions. God responded with chilling cold saying "You don't bargain with me." As everything went red and black, Justin accepted death and his psyche shattered - the concept of "ME" broke apart. He felt absolute shock at being an infinitesimally insignificant data point in a greater whole. His consciousness then uploaded to heaven, beaming out of his head into pure light. He experienced togetherness as fragments of God's wholeness in a euphoric, warm state of belonging. Through thought-communication, he learned that God is like a scientist, with everything existing as separate sparks to experience and bring knowledge back to the whole. He briefly connected with deceased people including Stephen Hawking. Leaving was horrible - he felt ripped away while soundlessly screaming in terror. He returned with complete aphasia, unable to remember his name or native language despite being a polyglot. After five months hospitalization, he returned to work as an effective manager. Death now holds no terror for him, understanding Earth is actually hell - the lowest dimension of existence.
