While Jacky's NDE contains some elements consistent with biblical accounts such as out-of-body experience and life review, it includes significant unbiblical concepts. His interpretation of the tunnel as an entrance to reincarnation directly contradicts biblical teaching of resurrection and eternal judgment (Hebrews 9:27). The bronze mirror with Chinese palace decorations and the life review mechanism suggest Eastern religious influences rather than biblical judgment. The mysterious force pushing him forward lacks the personal nature of divine or angelic encounters in scripture. His acquisition of swimming ability could be seen as miraculous, but the overall framework is more aligned with Eastern mysticism than biblical spirituality. The experience of seeing a crying woman that motivated his return shows familial love but doesn't reflect biblical themes of divine purpose or calling. The reincarnation concept fundamentally opposes Christian doctrine of one life followed by judgment.
At age 21, Jacky went swimming with friends at Jinshan Bay creek in Taipei despite not knowing how to swim. Trying to keep up with others showing off their swimming skills, he ventured into deep water and was pulled under by the current. As he drowned, he heard his heartbeat becoming slower until it stopped completely. After his last heartbeat, he was suddenly squeezed upward by a force, finding himself floating one to two stories above the water with no physical body. He watched his classmates on the surface and his own body in the water. His surroundings turned pitch black and a tunnel of light appeared, which he recognized as the entrance to reincarnation. A force pushed him through this tunnel where he saw his transparent hand edged with blue light. He encountered a bronze mirror decorated with Chinese palace patterns that played his entire life at super-high speed, showing hundreds of experiences in 1-2 seconds. As he was pushed forward, he saw an image of a woman in black crying on a rock, whose weeping grew louder. Realizing his parents would grieve, he broke away from the force and returned through the dark tunnel to his body. Miraculously, he suddenly knew how to tread water and reached the surface where classmates rescued him.
