This experience contains many standard NDE elements including out-of-body travel, life review, otherworldly realms of beauty, and prophetic knowledge of a future daughter (verified 8 years later). The precognitive element is particularly remarkable. However, the experience diverges significantly from biblical teaching through explicit endorsement of reincarnation, which directly contradicts Hebrews 9:27 about dying once then judgment. The emphasis on intuitive communication and universal love without mention of God, Jesus, or divine judgment reflects New Age rather than biblical spirituality. While the life review showed loved ones and the experiencer felt surrounded by love, there was no encounter with divine beings or spiritual assessment. The experience led to increased intuition and psychic-type abilities rather than relationship with God. Though the protective vision of her future daughter could be seen as providential, the overall framework and resulting beliefs conflict with core biblical doctrines about death, judgment, and salvation.
Erin experienced complete suffocation during a criminal attack in June 2000 at age 25. The panic became overwhelming until she "exploded into darkness" and calmly left her body. She entered a circular, dark tunnel moving at high speed, able only to look east, which she knew was important. Her life review began at warp speed with flashes too fast to process, then slowed to show all her close family and friends, surrounding her with love. She was launched from the tunnel hundreds of feet into the sky as a flying spirit without a body, experiencing pure bliss. The mountains and nature displayed colors and love beyond earthly perception. While flying, she looked down and saw a small female child running away down the mountain. In a split second, she knew this was her future daughter and immediately chose to return. Her soul flew backward through the tunnel at warp speed back into her body. She then fought off her attacker and escaped. Eight years later, she had the daughter she saw in her vision. The experience eliminated her fear of death and strengthened her belief in reincarnation. She developed heightened intuition and could communicate intuitively without words during the experience.
