This experience directly contradicts core biblical teachings. The central focus on reincarnation planning fundamentally opposes Hebrews 9:27 stating humans die once then face judgment. The being's shape-shifting nature and question "Who do you want me to be?" suggests deception rather than divine truth, as God and His angels consistently identify themselves in scripture. The ability to negotiate future lives and choose to remain autistic contradicts God's sovereignty over human destiny. The prediction of mental illness could be seen as a curse or self-fulfilling prophecy rather than divine revelation. Most concerning is that this occurred to a young child who may have been more susceptible to spiritual deception. The being's refusal to let him see his grandfather "yet" implies future meetings through reincarnation cycles rather than biblical resurrection. This entire framework of choosing incarnations, negotiating life circumstances, and cycling through multiple lives directly opposes the biblical narrative of creation, fall, redemption, and eternal destiny.
Niels was 3-4 years old undergoing eye surgery when his heart stopped twice. During the experience, he felt chest pain and called out to God for help before being rocketed out of his body. He saw himself on the surgery table with doctors scrambling while feeling great himself. He was pulled upward through a tunnel of light by a being made of light he had seen before the anesthesia. Inside a void, the being asked "Who do you want me to be?" and offered to speak in his mother's or deceased grandfather's voice. During a life review, Niels surprised the being by asking to plan his next reincarnation, specifically requesting Japan. The being showed him Numuro in Hokkaido where he glimpsed himself as a future male wearing a dark coat and autumn scarf at a train station. The being agreed to let him remain autistic in his next life. When dragged back to his body as doctors restarted his heart, he was pushed back to the void when revival initially failed. The being told him he would develop mental illness in his twenties (which proved accurate) but wouldn't let him see his grandfather yet. He returned to his body for his mother's sake.
