While these NDEs contain profound spiritual experiences with verified veridical elements, the theological framework presented diverges significantly from biblical Christianity. The experiences include genuine encounters with divine love and supernatural knowledge, with remarkable verification of distant conversations proving consciousness beyond the body. However, the cosmology presented is distinctly panentheistic rather than biblical. The concept that souls pre-exist and choose to incarnate contradicts biblical creation theology. The idea that humans are literal "sparks of the divine" who help God experience limitation opposes the Creator-creature distinction. The notion that Earth exists to solve a divine paradox suggests God needs creation for completeness, contradicting divine sufficiency. The universal salvation implications and absence of sin/redemption concepts conflict with biblical soteriology. While the overwhelming divine love experienced aligns with God's nature, the theological interpretation frames it in New Age/Eastern mystical terms rather than biblical covenant relationship. Despite powerful veridical evidence, the spiritual teachings require careful biblical discernment.
Sandi experienced multiple NDEs between ages 3-7 during severe abuse by foster parents. In one experience after strangulation leading to clinical death, she observed from beside her body as medical staff argued about removing life support. A Being of light instructed her to follow and remember exactly what the foster parents and doctor said. She followed them through hospital corridors to an office where she witnessed their argument, later repeating the conversation verbatim. She was taken into the presence of what she calls the Great Intelligence/God, experiencing overwhelming love, gratitude, and physical presence of these emotions. She toured the universe, surfing on sound, tasting colors beyond human perception, experiencing songs of planets and laughter of stars. After being given the choice, she decided to return despite knowing only pain awaited. In another NDE, she toured other worlds including a water-covered planet with bioluminescent beings, traveled among stars and planets, and received a "download" explaining Earth's purpose in allowing the unlimited divine to experience limitation, solving the paradox of an unlimited loving God.
