Meghan was hit by a truck while chasing a neighbor's dog on a snowy day in Louisiana, thrown 12 feet into a water-filled ditch. During the impact, she was unaware of being hit and experienced continuing to run in a floating sensation with feet on ground, seeing the dog run back toward home and the truck stopped. After brief darkness, she found herself back in the ditch with her sister telling her not to move.
