While the experience contains many biblical elements including a loving being of light (possibly divine), life review without condemnation (grace), and a mission to return, Victor's subsequent beliefs diverge significantly from biblical Christianity. His adoption of reincarnation directly contradicts Hebrews 9:27. The pantheistic view that "God is in All and All is God" contradicts biblical monotheism and God's transcendence. His departure from organized Christianity and development of psychic abilities suggests new age influences. Victor was struck from behind by a mini-bus while crossing a street with his 3-year-old daughter and companions. After impact, he found himself standing on the sidewalk observing his body lying in the road with his brother-in-law kneeling beside him in distress. He experienced euphoria, saw everything in vivid colors with 360-degree vision, and could focus anywhere instantly. After confirming his daughter was safe, he tried to reassure a worried gentleman but his hand went through the man's shoulder. He watched an elderly lady bring a pink pillow and colorful blanket from a building. He then found himself in a dark vortex/tunnel moving rapidly toward a point of light that grew into a massive, brilliant sun-like presence without hurting his eyes. The light communicated telepathically with love, understanding, and acceptance, welcoming him but saying it wasn't his time. They reviewed his life together from oldest to youngest, stopping at uncertain moments with the loving comment "Don't you think you could have done it this way?" with Victor judging himself. When told he had more to do and must return, Victor protested and asked for explanation but was lovingly told it would become clear as he lived. He briefly awoke in the ambulance as his brother-in-law confirmed, then fully awoke four days later in the hospital.
