While the beautiful environment with flowers and perfect comfort could align with paradise descriptions, and the overwhelming love and peace reflect God's presence, the explicit teaching about reincarnation directly contradicts Hebrews 9:27 which states "it is appointed for men to die once, and after this the judgment." The entities' message about the baby being "born again" to someone else if not to her presents reincarnation as fact, which opposes biblical teaching about the uniqueness of each soul and single earthly life.
The development of premonitive abilities (knowing who would call or enter rooms) resembles divination or fortune-telling, practices condemned in Deuteronomy 18:10-12. While some biblical figures received prophetic gifts from God, the spontaneous development of psychic abilities following an NDE raises concerns about the source of such powers. The absence of God, Jesus, or biblical angels, combined with non-identified entities teaching non-biblical doctrines, suggests deception rather than divine revelation. The experience, while containing some positive elements, fundamentally contradicts core Christian doctrines about the nature of life, death, and the soul's journey.
Jeri underwent a dental procedure for jaw and tooth realignment, receiving laughing gas followed by pain-killer combinations that led to an anesthesia overdose. She stopped breathing for several minutes and required resuscitation. During this crisis, she found herself standing barefoot in a vast, bright place surrounded by a dry mist that blocked distant vision. She experienced being outdoors with pale-green grass underfoot and strongly remembered the smell of wildflowers and fruit blossoms with a light breeze. The environment was perfectly comfortable with no sense of temperature difference. Two non-physical entities communicated telepathically, telling her about her unborn child and confirming reincarnation. An internal voice told her she had to go back "for now" as it wasn't her time yet. She experienced intense peace, joy, and unconditional love that made her feel almost unworthy. As she became aware of medical staff shouting "Breathe!" she felt irritated and certain she didn't want to start breathing again. Upon return, she was shaking uncontrollably with joy. The experience included premonitive abilities lasting several months where she could know who would call or enter rooms before it happened.
