This experience contains some biblical elements overshadowed by significant concerns. The positive aspects include the clinical death and resuscitation, which demonstrates the reality of consciousness beyond physical death as suggested in 2 Corinthians 5:8. The encounter with beings who knew about her life could potentially represent angels, as Hebrews 1:14 describes ministering spirits. The choice to return for her daughters shows maternal love and responsibility. The initial disorientation upon return (not recognizing her husband) aligns with the profound nature of such experiences.
However, major biblical incompatibilities dominate this account. The beings told her she "lived her life well" and earned a choice, suggesting works-based merit rather than grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9). Her subsequent involvement in Reiki, energy healing, and channeling directly contradicts biblical warnings against occult practices (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). Moving from Catholicism to Buddhism represents apostasy from Christian faith. The concept of "re-energizing" the same body and treating past life as previous incarnation hints at reincarnation beliefs. Channeling these beings and becoming a Reiki master involves spirit communication forbidden in Scripture. The absence of any mention of God, Jesus, or the gospel, combined with embrace of New Age practices, indicates low biblical compatibility.
Alicia underwent surgery for a tumor located between the vaginal mesh and intestines. The tumor appeared suddenly and was thought to be encapsulated, but the surgeon discovered it had branched around lower organs and was eating into the uterine wall. During the complex surgery to remove the branches, Alicia suddenly died. The medical team resuscitated her for 7 minutes.
During her death, Alicia found herself in a place devoid of light but paradoxically full of love and peace. She was accompanied by invisible Beings whose presence she could sense. She felt something fantastic was happening. One Being with a masculine, sweet, and loving voice spoke to her mind, telling her that her earthly life had ended. Because she had lived her life well, they were giving her a choice to stay with them or return. When memories of her three daughters came to mind, she said she wanted to return as they needed her. The Being responded "Well! We are going to explain to you how to do it." She experienced her energy body as liquid, draining toward and penetrating her physical body through her head. The Beings continued communicating telepathically, showing her how to enter slowly to minimize pain. They later told her they couldn't give her a new body as time was short, but she should re-energize the same body. Upon awakening in recovery, doctors were shocked and immediately tested her cognitive function. She initially didn't recognize her husband, seeing him as her brother, though she recognized her daughters and mother. After returning home, she struggled with the fading of the peaceful feelings and made major life changes including divorce, moving, studying Reiki, and eventually becoming a Reiki master. She learned to channel and connect with the Beings who had received her when she died. |
