This experience reflects a pantheistic or Buddhist worldview incompatible with biblical Christianity. The complete loss of personal identity into undifferentiated infinity contradicts the biblical teaching of individual personhood maintained in the afterlife. Newt J was on a Christmas road trip teaching his girlfriend to drive when they attempted a U-turn near Paradise Point. His car was T-boned by a fast-moving 4WD truck hitting the driver door. Upon impact, he accepted death and lost all sense of identity, time, and physical coordinates. He experienced immediate relief as his 27 years of confusion, struggle and mistakes vanished. His identity became a distant, unremembered trial left behind. He became aware of infinity in its pure, atemporal, undifferentiated state - a swirling luminous color in absence of light, somehow in a vacuum yet paradoxical. He felt enveloped in and indistinct from pure love, experiencing unbelievable beauty. Though curious to explore, having will seemed at odds with this reality, so he observed gratefully, wanting eternity there. The sensation might be called blue or purple, though it wasn't light as perceived through mind but total experience. He returned when hearing his lover's bloodcurdling scream, immediately feeling loss at leaving egoless bliss to return to flawed identity and distorted perception. The other passenger confirmed his pulse and breathing had stopped. The experience eliminated his fear of death, made him more compassionate and patient, led him to quit drugs, become vegetarian, volunteer frequently, and live more sustainably. He now believes in undefined benevolent forces/infinity/love and expects death to be rejoining infinity, more lucid than human awareness.
