This experience shows low biblical compatibility due to its transformative effect leading away from traditional Christian faith. While the life review and beautiful otherworldly realm with light could align with some biblical imagery, the experiencer explicitly rejected her Catholic faith afterward, becoming agnostic. She states she understood that what she had been taught religiously was "non-existent" and that traditional Western religious beliefs are "totally not right." She now believes God probably does not exist, contradicting fundamental Christian doctrine. The development of energy healing abilities in her hands suggests New Age practices rather than biblical spiritual gifts. Her statement that death is "like going home" and freeing could align with some Christian views, but her overall rejection of religious teachings, denial of God's existence, and embrace of energy healing practices place this experience in significant conflict with orthodox biblical Christianity. In December 1985, Donna's vehicle was struck by a freight train at high speed at an unprotected double crossing. She received the first impact on her door and sustained multiple injuries, not expected to survive the night. After the second impact, she felt herself outside her body with no pain. She found herself in a funnel-like atmosphere where her life regressed rapidly before her eyes. Simultaneously, she saw the most beautiful field of flowers with awesome light pulling her with wonderful sensation. She desperately wanted to go there but knew her young daughter needed her. As she approached being born in her life regression, she knew returning to the womb meant no return. Taking one last attempt to breathe, she came back gasping for air in full pain. The experience transformed her religious views from Catholic to agnostic, eliminated her fear of death, and gave her understanding that traditional religious teachings about afterlife were incorrect. She gained new energy in her hands and heightened sensitivity to others.
