However, several elements contradict orthodox biblical teaching. His belief in multiple lives and having known his guide "for eons" directly contradicts Hebrews 9:27 about dying once then judgment. The concept that earthly life is an "illusion" conflicts with biblical teaching about creation's reality and purpose. His statement that "there's no way to blow life" contradicts biblical teachings about sin and judgment. The idea that all belief systems are equally valid opposes Christ's exclusive claims. Mike was running at the YMCA when his heart went into fibrillation. He suddenly found himself standing over a man on the ground while attendants performed CPR, then realized it was his own body. The experience showed him that earthly life is an illusion, a learning vehicle, and that love is all there is - the fabric of consciousness itself. He gained awareness that we have many lives, we are all connected as one, and there is no way to fail as long as we remember the love.
