Salem passed out at home an hour after burying his father in 2002. He was pulled to a completely white area where people were shuffling in a queue to his left, looking distressed and afraid. A beautiful strong white light shone from above at an angle, with white steps at its base. To his right was a hideous being with grisly hair and piercing green eyes, standing next to his recently deceased father wearing the same clothes he died in. His father spoke in Gujarati saying "My son won't let go of me." The being snarled loudly with bright white fangs, telling Salem to let go of his father as it was his turn to go into the light and Salem was holding up the queue. Salem let go instantly, everything went dark, and he awoke coughing. Since this experience, Salem reports seeing, sensing, and feeling the presence of dead souls - a gift he doesn't want. The experience gave him knowledge that all religions are untrue but God is real, and he gained understanding about the universe and future events.
