witch, universal energy, Taoism, environmental stewardship focus
This experience contains several elements incompatible with biblical Christianity. The encounter with a witch who transferred energy through sexual contact immediately before the NDE raises serious concerns from a biblical perspective, as witchcraft is explicitly condemned in Scripture. The experiencer practices Taoism and describes God as "universal energy" rather than a personal deity, which contradicts the biblical understanding of God as a personal being.
While the experience includes some elements consistent with biblical accounts (out-of-body experience, encountering spiritual beings, heightened awareness), the overall worldview presented is pantheistic rather than theistic. The emphasis on environmental stewardship as the primary mission, while not inherently unbiblical, replaces the Gospel message with ecological concerns. The absence of Christ, judgment, or biblical heaven/hell, combined with New Age concepts of universal energy and the practice of Eastern religions, places this experience outside orthodox Christian understanding.
Francis was in a severe motorcycle accident in 1976, hit head-on by an intoxicated driver. Both femurs were broken as the motorcycle crushed his legs. He was transported to a trauma center where his heart stopped and he flatlined. He left his body, saw medical staff working on him from above, then was pulled to a white light surrounded by stars. At the gates of heaven, a spirit told him it wasn't his time and he had to return to do beautiful things and help mankind. He argued but was sent back when the crash cart restarted his heart.
During the experience, Francis had panoramic awareness and could see the entire scene from above. He felt total peace and the presence of loving beings in the light. The sounds, smells and sights were amazing and indescribable. He was told he had important work to do on Earth, particularly helping nature and the planet. After returning, he experienced a complete transformation - his "evil ways died" and he became focused on helping others and the Earth. The experience gave Francis knowledge that life continues after death and that we are all connected through universal energy. He practices Taoism and believes we are stewards of planet Earth. The NDE was the greatest gift he ever received and completely changed his life direction. He now helps people who have lost loved ones by sharing his story. |
