The post-NDE belief that all religions are equal paths to God contradicts Christ's exclusive claims. The telepathic communication and psychic abilities developed afterward suggest occult influences. Though the initial experience of divine love and life purpose has biblical parallels, the subsequent embrace of universalism and psychic practices makes this largely incompatible with biblical Christianity. The genuine care for her children's welfare shown by the divine presence is the most biblically compatible element.
During surgery while tied to a stretcher under anesthesia, Maria tried to communicate nausea but couldn't be heard. She went through a long tunnel wearing an orange tunic (not the white one given). The tunnel had rainbow colors surrounded by light making her feel secure and loved. Her body felt weightless with all sensations as emotions. She arrived at a place flooded with white light that opened consciousness. A telepathic voice connected to her heart saying it wasn't her time, she had a mission and had never been in love on Earth. God showed her two pictures of her sons, saying their lives would be disasters without her. She saw doctors and nurses running, one doctor at her wrist, another holding his head, and her husband praying outside. Upon waking, she knew details before being told: blood pressure dropped below 4. The doctor said he'd never operate on her again because she scared them. She had increased perceptions, began writing poetry, and eventually divorced, feeling she wasn't the same person.
