Hannah experienced cardiac arrest following a drug overdose on March 22, 2013. Initially surrounded by darkness, she felt confused and scared, sensing she was somewhere far from Earth, possibly at the edge or outside of the universe. A small white light appeared, and as she moved toward it, she was overcome with warmth, happiness, and tranquility. A female voice, which she believed might be God or Mother Nature, told her it would be okay to go toward the light but that she was free to walk away and would have a second chance. In that moment, Hannah knew it wasn't her time and pulled herself away from the beautiful light and comforting voice. She awoke with a jump in the ambulance after cardiac arrest. During the experience, she felt more conscious than ever in waking life, realizing earthly life has little meaning and important matters happen after leaving this realm. She perceived herself looking into the eye of the universe as it looked back, witnessing matter, antimatter, fundamental forces in unity, quantum physics laws, and individual atoms laid out before her. The experience transformed her from atheist to agnostic, confirming God's existence, though she gained the understanding that earthly life has no ultimate purpose and that after death, humans become part of the universe's matter and ascend to higher consciousness.
