She realized her mistake was not having the right perspective on her life. The experience gave her "the spirit of the beginner" and showed her life's true beauty. She later converted from secular to Buddhist beliefs, experiencing complete transformation from fearful and uncompassionate to fearless and greatly compassionate. The life review focused on emotional moments she couldn't manage rather than professional or social achievements.
