Natalie Sudman's elaborate near-death experience contains significant departures from biblical Christianity. While certain elements like the out-of-body experience and encountering spiritual beings could have biblical parallels, the overall framework is decidedly new age and contradicts core Christian doctrines. The concept of pre-birth agreements where she chose this physical lifetime for specific purposes directly contradicts biblical teaching about God's sovereignty in creation and his forming us in the womb (Psalm 139:13-16). The idea of fulfilling agreements made before birth implies pre-existence of souls and chosen incarnations, which aligns with reincarnation beliefs rather than biblical creation theology.
The thousands of beings she encountered are described as equals involved in various dimensional responsibilities, lacking any recognition of God's supreme authority or angelic hierarchy described in scripture. Her ability to participate in healing her own body through "energy matrix" work resembles occult energy healing practices rather than divine healing through prayer or God's intervention. The multiple "vibrational dimensions" and levels of existence presented as equally valid realms contradict the biblical cosmology of heaven, earth, and hell. Most concerning is the complete absence of God, Christ, sin, salvation, or any biblical spiritual framework, replaced instead with a complex system of dimensional beings, pre-birth agreements, and energy work that resembles theosophical and new age teachings explicitly warned against in scripture. While her experience was profound and transformative, its theological framework is fundamentally incompatible with biblical Christianity.
On November 24, 2007, Natalie Sudman was traveling in Iraq as a civilian contractor when her vehicle was struck by a roadside bomb near Nasiriyah. She had been on construction site visits and was returning to base with her personal security team. At the moment of the explosion, she experienced an instantaneous transition - she "blinked" from sitting in the truck to standing on an oval dais approximately twenty feet in diameter. Her physical body appeared on the dais still wearing her bloody and torn fatigues, looking "intrepid" despite being dirty and darkly tanned. She found herself addressing thousands of white-robed beings arrayed around her as if in a huge stadium.
These beings were non-physical essences who took on form when needed, appearing to Natalie as glowing white-robed figures because that was simpler for her recently-transferred consciousness to process. She recognized most of these thousands as familiar equals, understanding this to be a gathering of many groups with various responsibilities related to Earth and dimensions beyond. Natalie first communicated her exhaustion and lack of interest in returning to physical existence. Then she presented an incredibly complex matrix of information - minutely detailed yet elegantly simple, including cultural and political information, events, relationships, equations, and symbols. This download fulfilled a pre-birth agreement to provide this information to the Gathering. The personalities absorbed and discussed this matrix within seconds through thought communication without overlaps or misunderstandings. The Gathering requested she return to accomplish further work requiring her particular energy skills within Earth's vibration. After negotiating specific assistance for her continued physical existence, Natalie retreated to a deep restorative state in another vibrational dimension where other beings helped restore her energies - a process that felt like centuries but occurred in less than a moment. Upon returning to the Gathering, they agreed upon specific tasks she would accomplish with their assistance. She then moved to another vibrational location where she could observe her physical body in the truck and simultaneously see it as an energy matrix, noting severe injuries including a nearly severed right hand, mangled foot, deep torso wound, large head wound with missing eye and brain tissue. Natalie worked with energy beings to repair her body through the matrix level, joking and "goofing off" while doing so. Some injuries were not completely healed as they would serve purposes for her agreed-upon tasks. After thanking her companions, she met briefly with other familiar beings to discuss mechanical details of her agreements, then took a deep breath and "popped" back into her body with a champagne cork sound. She found herself still in the damaged vehicle with injured colleagues, maintaining consciousness as they received emergency treatment. Her account, detailed in her book "Application of Impossible Things," demonstrates extensive out-of-body observations and interactions across multiple dimensional states during the brief time between injury and return to consciousness. |
