However, major theological problems severely compromise biblical compatibility. The most significant issue is her extensive past life visions, seeing herself and family members in previous incarnations across different times and countries. This directly contradicts the biblical teaching of one life followed by judgment (Hebrews 9:27). On July 28, 1996, Malena woke at 4 AM with intense chest pain and severe difficulty breathing from a pulmonary embolism. During her cardiac arrest, she found herself floating over her body while entering a dark tunnel. As she progressed deeper, she lost all perception of her physical form and entered an ocean of stillness, calm, silence, and rest. She experienced indescribable happiness and peace. In this state of extreme joy, she suddenly heard a powerful, omnipotent voice that commanded her to return, stating: "You must return to life. You still have three missions to complete." Despite not wanting to leave this peaceful state, the voice was so authoritative that disobedience was impossible. She managed to ask what missions she had, receiving answers to each question before rapidly traveling back to life. The return brought back all the pain and physical drama. She spent eight wonderful days in intensive care, feeling she had been with God. Her condition was critical, bordering on requiring heart surgery, but miraculously the clot began reabsorbing itself. For thirty days following, she had continued paranormal experiences, visiting past lives and seeing herself in other times, ages, and countries with current family members in different roles. These visions helped her understand her life and relationships more deeply.
