Both times she awoke quickly in the hospital recovery room. Despite being very nearsighted, Isabelle saw details clearly without glasses during the experiences. Her hearing was incredibly sensitive - she could hear surgical tools rubbing and surgeons breathing. The first experience initially scared her before bringing great peace; the second was entirely peaceful. After these experiences, Isabelle developed enhanced listening abilities and clairvoyant gifts - seeing images and colors about past and future, feeling others' emotions intensely. She believes she was not meant to die because she still had things to do, particularly helping others with their problems despite her own serious disabilities from the accident.
