While this experience contains some elements that could align with biblical descriptions of divine encounters, the subsequent embrace of Wicca makes it fundamentally incompatible with biblical Christianity. The initial experience of light, overwhelming peace, joy, and unity could potentially represent a genuine spiritual encounter. The sense of being called by the light might reflect divine drawing. The father's voice calling her back to life for her family's sake could represent God's providence in preserving her life for His purposes. The understanding that the soul continues after death aligns with biblical teaching about eternal existence.
However, the turn to Wicca represents a complete rejection of biblical faith and embrace of practices God explicitly condemns. Witchcraft is repeatedly forbidden in scripture (Deuteronomy 18:10-12, Galatians 5:20, Revelation 21:8). Sara experienced severe bleeding for 15 days, thinking it was her period. Upon fainting, everything lost shape and faded until becoming an intensifying light that changed from bluish to white. She felt extraordinary emotions - peace, tranquility, happiness, joy, safety, and unity with everything immense. The light called to her and she felt compelled to go to it without feeling her body. Then she felt pulling in her chest and heard her father's voice saying they needed her, that she must make effort to survive, that she was strong. She gave in and the light disappeared. She awoke in a hospital room with breathing tube, learning she had gone into seizure when fainting, her father saved her from swallowing her tongue, she had stopped breathing at the hospital with almost no pulse, was stabilized and had curettage. Though less than a day passed, she experienced it as almost an eternity. She now doesn't fear death, knowing the soul leaves the body immediately. She has since followed Wicca and sometimes receives instant messages about events happening or about to happen.
