This experience exhibits strong pantheistic/New Age characteristics incompatible with biblical Christianity. The claim of BEING light, music, and harmony reflects Eastern mysticism's dissolution of self into universal consciousness, contradicting the biblical Creator-creature distinction. Scripture teaches we can fellowship with God who IS light, not that we become the light ourselves. While the positive life changes are commendable, the turn to astrology is explicitly forbidden in Deuteronomy 18:10-14 and Isaiah 47:13-14. The absence of personal encounter with God or Christ is telling.
On January 15, 1985, Norbeto G crashed into a truck in Colombia, suffering burst liver, fractured vertebrae, ribs and humerus. Due to massive hemorrhage and lack of O-negative blood, surgeons initially declared intervention pointless. After three cardiac arrests with clinical death pronounced, they closed wounds to wait for final death. A nun found five donors in the chapel. A friend created commotion, leading to continued attempts. Another surgeon was brought in at 2am after two more cardiac arrests. During this time, Norbeto felt immersed in unfamiliar space with great clarity where there was no light but he WAS the light, no music but he WAS the music, no harmony/peace but he WAS those things. He felt part of a Great Whole - the Universe without stars where everything was light, joy, and love. Twenty-five years later, this completely changed his vision of existence. He gave up drugs and superficial relationships, dedicating himself to astrological investigation.
